It does appear that some of the sources cited on this are from 'sponsored' articles, and therefore of questionable reliability. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 17:42, 26 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

I've stubbed this for now as most of the material was just clearly fabricated. All of those sources will need to be re-evaluated. Several look like high-end paid placement / advertorial bespoke "magazines" that should have never been used. Does not help that Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Calvin Lo (businessman) was trashed by now-blocked paid PR socks; we owe Icicle City (talk · contribs) an apology there - he was way ahead of that. Will look in to the sources as time permits; some are normally reliable ones that just did cursory fact-checking as the Forbes peice suggests, but others look like more elaborate PR sinks (like luxuo.com). No objections if someone wants to re-AFD, but maybe has some notability now for other reasons. Sam Kuru (talk) 19:12, 26 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Citations added to valid sources now. Seems to be all factual at this point. Gokiburi88 (talk) 05:52, 28 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Are you getting paid for these edits? Are you the same person as Good4AllGoog? --Escape Orbit (Talk) 13:05, 28 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Definitely not getting paid for edits. I am not the same person as Good4AllGoog. Gokiburi88 (talk) 02:15, 31 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Edit request to complete AfD nomination

edit

Calvin Lo has been listed at Articles for deletion (nomination), but it was protected, so it could not be tagged. Please add:

{{subst:afdx|2nd|help=off}}

to the top of the page to complete the nomination. Thank you. Fishgrail2 (talk) 14:46, 30 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

  Already done by a bot :) Actualcpscm scrutinize, talk 16:28, 30 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
This request should have been rejected based on the AFD here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Calvin_Lo_(businessman)_(2nd_nomination) which you closed earlier this month. - Indefensible (talk) 22:13, 30 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
The requesting editor had already opened the AfD (i.e. created the AfD page), and the tag was added to the article by a bot. I took no action here except to mark the request as done.
I agree that it might be a spurious nomination, but I‘m not going to close as speedy keep on those grounds, precisely because I am arguably involved. Actualcpscm scrutinize, talk 07:10, 31 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
And upon checking the nomination, I see that it‘s already resolved :) Actualcpscm scrutinize, talk 07:11, 31 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Delete this fraudster and con artists wikipedia entry

This man has been exposed as a liar and a fraud - why on earth is there an entry about him? It should surely be deleted! 2A02:C7C:6434:7100:9985:DA64:B528:6424 (talk) 15:18, 3 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Unreliable sources

Will update company registration information with reliable source. ABCWorldChanger (talk) 13:13, 6 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

  Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me! 15:43, 6 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
