- Moved back. All articles relating to her obituary state Caitlin Thomas. She became notable as Caitlin Thomas, she published her books under Caitlin Thomas and retained her surname after Dylans death. FruitMonkey (talk) 19:33, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
When a 29 year family friend and a little later his rather famous father have (illegal) sex with a vulnerable young woman of twelve and then fourteen can this be called 'an affair' in the normal sense and is it balanced reporting to call her 'precocious' (in other words asking for it!). This description originates from the BBC - who have a questionable record in this area!
- No mention is made to Augustus John's son having sex with Caitlin. There is though recorded evidence of Augustus raping Caitlin. The BBC angle is a crock, but the other points made raise serious concerns, I will dig out the biographies and explore them tomorrow. 22:43, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
Pronunciation edit

- How else? And how else could Caitlin be pronounced? I see from the history that the IPA template has been revised, reverted repeatedly, and then removed, but when used, if I'm reading it correctly, the suggested pronunciation was no different from "kate-lynne tah-muss". Maybe that's why the IPA is no longer in evidence?—Rags (talk) 16:36, 30 May 2016 (UTC)

Telegraph article edit
Asdasdasd12312312, you removed the line: "During this period she was brutally initiated into sex by Augustus himself, who seemed to believe that sex with those he painted was an artist's privilege", and wrote in edit summary: "The text contains weasel words and makes claims without evidence. The Telegraph does not explain how the sex was 'brutal', it's slanderous and yellow." I presume you mean the Telegraph makes claims without evidence. The WP article content is supported fully by the Telegraph article. Either way the argument doesn't work. The Telegraph may well have evidence. If you have a problem with the newspaper article, I suggest you take it up with them. As for WP, the article meets the reliable sourcing criteria. Span (talk) 12:22, 20 May 2013 (UTC)
