1993 edit

The videogame was published *before* the 13-episode cartoon adaption in 1993 on CBS (also as Cadillacs and Dinosaurs)? Really, Cadillacs & Dinosaurs should redirect to Xenozoic Tales and start with the Mark Schultz comic book, then include a subsection on its adaption as C&D for TV and gaming. Anyone interested can start their research (aside from the original comics) at [1].

Yeah, the cartoon series was pretty good, I'm surprised nobody has started an article on it yet. In any case, the person to advance on this path should make mention of the word "Kwahoon" at some point in their discussion. Rufous 16:07, 9 May 2005 (UTC)Reply

Swearing? edit

"XXX YOU!" of course rules, but I swear when Mustapha wins a battle he says "Fucking cool!" (even though the word balloon over him says "I'm a Bad Mamba Jamba." He's my favorite character, potty mouth or not! ;)

He actually says "HAY!!!! COOL!" in the game. [2] CheapAlert 20:50, 8 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Hum... There is a sequel of this videogame? Why the end is so short? What did happen to Jack and Hannah? O_O...
no sequel, the final scene after the credit shows Jack and Hannah complety sane on their cadillac!

Plot edit

So we've got a detailed explanation of "both Steel Barrel (red) and Wood Barrel (brown)", but nothing on the insane plot of the game? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.129.128.98 (talk) 21:18, 7 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Cadillacs and Dinosaurs Capcom ingame.PNG edit

Image:Cadillacs and Dinosaurs Capcom ingame.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

So much original research edit

Just for the record, phrases like 'Best used by beginners' or 'considered really difficult' (or similar phrases found in this article) are frowned upon. Lots42 (talk) 20:34, 3 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Removed lots of the game guide content. There was a lot of stuff here, although I left the fan site link which has a lot of info too. Here is a link to the last version with all the deleted info. --Jtalledo (talk) 16:36, 28 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Mustapha name. edit

The game is known popularly as "Mustapha" in India and Bangladesh. Also google search of "Mustapha game" gives the results about this game. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rosswante (talkcontribs) 14:30, 21 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

1992 edit

I noticed that on the Cadillacs and Dinosaurs disambiguation page that it says "a 1992 arcade game". Is there any evidence that this was available in arcades at that time?

https://web.archive.org/web/19981206233744/http://www.capcom.co.jp/gallery/arcade/1993/cadillacs.html has 1993 in the URL and says 1993/4 which is where I understand April 1993 to be derived from, but it also says:

C)1992, Mark Schultz (C)1992, CAPCOM Co., Ltd.

So I figure the likely story is they developed the game and copyrighted it in 92 but didn't release it until the following year? So it might be accurate to call it a 1992 game as well since that's when it was produced but not released? Ranze (talk) 10:15, 2 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
