Incorrect John Werden as builder

The Country Life article cited with John Werden as the owner is no longer available. John Werden (1st Baronet) was born in 1640.

The Historic England website refers to a John Worden, not Werden. It also claims that the building was described by Webb in 1623, which links to its 'early 17th century' date but pre-dates John Werden (1st Baronet)'s birth.

I therefore assume that the house builder is a different John Worden. Pixie2000 (talk) 07:20, 30 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
