Franklin Leslie

edit

I am currently adding material to your article on Nashville Franklyn "Buckskin Frank" Leslie. That article currently goes under the main head (at the very top of the page in large type)of Franklin Leslie - which is incorrect. Could you, or one of the other editors, please change that head to read Buckskin Frank Leslie. Jack DeMattos (talk) 15:39, 1 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Are you asking to change the name of the entire article? If so, what are the sources supporting the name change? Thanks! — btphelps (talk to me) (what I've done) 17:17, 1 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Death

edit

The article states "he ended his days drunk and penniless.....in 1930......it was estimated that this Frank Leslie was about 80-81...."

However, the very next paragraph implies that the U.S. Census on January 27, 1920 listed him at 77 years old. If he was 77 years old in 1920, wouldnt he have been closer to 80 years old by 1930?ENumC (talk) 14:53, 10 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Leslie's death

edit

A 22 year long member and prolific editor of Findagrave.com known as Mr. Ed has listed on his website from supposed trusted sources that Frank had died most probably broke and homeless by possible suicide in San Francisco at 85 years old in Oct 1927. It was confirmed by a former wife Elnora Torbet who was still known as Mrs Elnora Leslie at her death in 1934 that Frank was deceased for a few years by that time. Height

edit

Why is his height given? Seems bizarre. 188.241.144.115 (talk) 20:21, 22 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Also, what is the source of his height? 188.241.144.115 (talk) 20:23, 22 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
