This article has Samuel Miles Bronfman born "On board ship / born in Soroki", but the Samuel_Bronfman article has him born in Otaci. Capitalization of surnames

Please note that capitalization of surnames was used because this is a family tree format. Please also note that women are listed by their maiden names, as is common in genealogy. Links to Wikipedia entries for individuals were preserved from prior version, but red links were removed as they seemed unhelpful. The tree structure was used based on the Lehman family Wikipedia entry. It was selected to make this page easier to read than the prior version, which was a bulleted list. Hmm, the Lehman family article is STRANGELY LEGIBLE, wouldn't you agree? I know how much work goes into making a tree, and how exciting and satisfying it can be, but ALL CAPS is simply not acceptable on Wikipedia or most other places. Excess capitalization leads to visual and mental fatigue, and is the electronic equivalent of YELLING IN YOUR FACE. Although useful in a genealogy table and military orders where proper names must be understood at all costs, the needlessly repetitive and illegible nature of the article as it stands should, I feel, be brought in line with MOS:ALLCAPS. >MinorProphet (talk) 04:49, 3 April 2015 (UTC)

Disagree 100%. As a genealogist this is the convention, is not considered to be YELLING (that was yelling), but is actually used to make it easier to read trees and differentiate surnames. This formatting is an attempt to integrate genealogical formats and conventions into a family tree page of Wikipedia. My surname is not capitalized in my Wikimedia pseudonym. I am unrelated to the Bronfman family.

Google the names and you'll find that all are published publicly by themselves/media/court so I don't know how there's any problem since I added zero private information. Slovebz (talk) 22:52, 24 December 2023 (UTC)

Sorry that I forgot. I see nothing wrong with the family tree since all are public information. Therefore I reverted the deletion. And when there is a lack of source, it's very likely that editors forgot to add them. So instead of resorting to the bad habit of deleting/reverting, one can simply google the keywords and add the sources which are generally on the front pages of the search results.
