Degrees edit

It seems that he does not actually have a PhD. In the 2008 financial preport ([1], page 2), his degrees are listed as BSc Econ (Hons) MA (Econ) D.Univ (Hon). The latter presumably means Doctor of the University, which is an honorary doctorate degree from somewhere. If someone knows sources giving more precise information, such as the years the degrees were granted and the university that granted his D.Univ degree, please add them. I assume from [2] that his B.Sc. in Economics is from the University of Wales and that his MA is from the University of Manchester, but it would be good to have a more direct confirmation of this. I'm pretty confident he doesn't have a PhD. Some news articles refer to him as Dr Roper, but I think this is a mistaken assumption on the part of the journalists. Excellent work on the article; I would have struggled to find the patience for coming up with information on earlier years. Nomoskedasticity (talk) 12:35, 31 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
