En dash edit

I suggest that the hyphens in Bjelovar-Bilogora County and Primorje-Gorski Kotar County are replaced with en dashes, per MOS:ENDASH that gives the example "Wilkes-Barre, a single city named after two people, but Minneapolis–Saint Paul, a union of two cities." The writing of proper names in English differs from the writing of proper names in the original language (consider e.g. Minneapolis–Saint Paul, which is a proper name of a union). Probably it would be best to move the articles discussing these two counties to titles with en dashes, so I'm thinking of proposing it. --Eleassar my talk 23:22, 3 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Turns out I answered this independently at User talk:Eleassar#endashes. Anyway, I stand by my edit summary that this is entirely the wrong place for this discussion anyway, because this is just two villages out of hundreds or thousands that would be affected with such a change. --Joy [shallot] (talk) 23:55, 3 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
It's not an inappropriate place as long as we're the only users discussing this change and the dispute started at this page. I've replied to your objection at my talk page and hope that you will review my reply. --Eleassar my talk 09:08, 4 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
