I have applied the 'advert' template, because the page currently reads like an advert.

The introductory section is all right, though 'hundreds of' is hardly encyclopaedic in tone. But the 'History' section is almost entirely puff: it gives no dates, names no important indivduals, and in fact contains hardly any history. Sections on organisation, funding, and buildings would be appropriate. ColinFine 22:59, 11 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Rewrite

edit

I've re-written parts of the article to sound less like it was written by the college marketing department. The whole article still needs a lot of work, especially the history section which is lacking references and is a glorified list of bullet points.

In the interests of full transparency, I work for the university next door which technically competes with the college, but I've tried to be fair when writing the article. Please edit it if you think it shows bias. NRTurner (talk) 16:29, 11 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Bradford College, EnglandBradford College – The current disambiguation page at Bradford College lists three possible articles, one of which is about a small (600-student) defunct institution that originated in 1803 and closed in 1999, and another is a short unreferenced article about a small institution (also 600 students) in Adelaide that opened in 2002. In contrast the subject of this article is a 25,000-student institution with a history stretching back to 1832. I sincerely believe this is the primary topic and as such it should be located at Bradford College and the current disambiguation page at Bradford College (disambiguation). A short hatnote would assist anyone looking for the two other articles. 92.40.249.59 (talk) 22:50, 12 April 2016 (UTC) --Relisted. InsertCleverPhraseHere 02:34, 20 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
