Photo(s) for article
editBoxabl's homes are very distinct visually, but I can't find any photos on Commons. I contacted them through their web site to see if they'll donate any photos for us to use. For any company visitors - here's the upload wizard link [[1]]. TimTempleton (talk) (cont) 20:47, 24 August 2022 (UTC)
moved back to draftspace?
editHi @CrystalballMe, you moved this out of articlespace and back to draftspace, noting UPE, presumably WP:UPE based on the template. I have doubts about some editors, but I don't suspect @Timtempleton nor myself are connected to the company. Are you planning on paring the article down? It seems like a weird decision without discussion. tedder (talk) 16:13, 18 October 2022 (UTC)
- @CrystalballMe: - I significantly edited the original IP submission before moving it to mainspace. If you have concerns about the content, please discuss, especially when you tag it for UPE. When not used carefully, that tag can discourage future editing. In any case, I'm moving this back to mainspace. The burden is now on you to explain why moving this to draftspace wasn't disruptive. Thanks for the ping Tedder. TimTempleton (talk) (cont) 17:44, 18 October 2022 (UTC)
- Given the disruptiveness of (further) page moves, I protected the article against moves. It's just a good-faith protection to encourage discussion first, but any admin is free to remove it, move the page, handle an AFD, etc. tedder (talk) 17:56, 18 October 2022 (UTC)
- I removed the UPE tag, to not discourage future editing. Still waiting for @CrystalballMe: to comment with their reason for draftifying and tagging this. TimTempleton (talk) (cont) 05:53, 25 October 2022 (UTC)

good sources not attached to article
editSome pieces I've removed, but the source themself may be worthy of inclusion:
- "NJ may soon allow these gorgeous $50k box homes on your property". New Jersey 101.5. Retrieved 2022-10-05.
- These tiny houses cost $50k and can be built in an hour - CNN Video, retrieved 2022-10-05
some news articles are paid-placement
editHappened to see recent stories are "in partnership with Authority Tech", which is a PR agency.
- WRITTEN IN PARTNERSHIP WITH AUTHORITY TECH (22 February 2023). "Founder of Boxabl Continues Campaign to House LA Homeless - LA Weekly". LA Weekly. Retrieved 24 February 2023.
- Article presented by Authority Tech (14 February 2023). "Boxabl's Two-Story Foldable Home Gets Thumbs Up from Online Influencers". Life & Style. Retrieved 24 February 2023.
It explains why some of the recent coverage has looked similar. tedder (talk) 17:01, 24 February 2023 (UTC)
Reliable?
editTedder, any idea if teslarati.com is a reliable source? As per their about us page, it looks like a private website with no editorial team, which could potentially classify them as WP:QUESTIONABLE. This source was cited in this edit by user Whole Combination 97. Additionally, there seems to be a case of upe and sockpuppetry, and I have filed an SPI. Thank you, GSS 💬 17:47, 17 April 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for the ping. I'm not terribly concerned about a mention of the Tesla towing stunt, it would be nice to have a better source, but it certainly happened.
- It may not be socking, but there are definitely COI/promotional editors here. tedder (talk) 17:59, 17 April 2024 (UTC)
