Philanthropic status

Note that Books With Wings is not, as the web page incorrectly stated, a Canadian Registered Charity: that was a genuine misunderstanding on the part of the web site's designer, and this has since been corrected. Therefore, I've described it as a "philanthropic educational charity" based in Canada. Esowteric+Talk 12:05, 28 June 2015 (UTC)

No longer active

Books With Wings is, according to founder Richard Gordon, no longer active because they no longer have any mechanism to transport books. The University of Manitoba has also taken down the website. They still hope to reactivate it if they can find a way to ship into Afghanistan.Bjorklund21 (talk) 16:06, 29 May 2017 (UTC)
