Bips ETFs is one of the largest Exchange Traded funds in South Africa. Exchange Traded Funds have taken the investment world by storm in that it places the power of investments in the hands of individuals and away from institutions. In light of this - info about ETF providers and information on ETFs needs to be freely available on websites such as WIKI. As wiki is the point of call for many individuals looking to do research for themselves it serves that an Investment provider that acts to empower individuals to invest by themselves would be a good combination in this age of self empowerment.

Bips ETFs have been referenced more and more in the South African press as the ETF movement gains momentum:

ETFs have been a huge hit in the US (See ishares) - In South Africa we are just waking up to this. A huge education effort needs to take place in this regard and wiki is a good place to list this educational info.

Recreation of Previously Deleted Page edit

This page was speedily deleted under criteria A7, unremarkable company.

If there are reliable sources that establish the company's notability, they should be incorporated into the article.

The best way to do this is to create the page in a user page, you may want to look at writing better articles.

As the article stands right now, it will likely be deleted again, but you can move it in to your user space to avoid that.

Good luck. (GregJackP (talk) 14:53, 9 March 2010 (UTC))Reply
