The newepaper lost a court action for $750,000 when one of its employees, Bob Jones, negligently reversed his truck over the 4 year old daughter of one if its emplyees, Crystal Lyons, who was playing alone outside the building, in 1980. The incident left the girl with horrific disabilities.
