Republican period

edit

According to Meissner's chapter on Tavolara, the newspaper reports about Paolo I creating a republic after his death were erroneous.[1] Goustien (talk) 06:27, 31 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Giuseppe II?

edit

Meissner also reports a King Giuseppe II (d. 1941), son and successor of Carlo I and father of Paolo II. He says Giuseppe II was forced by economic difficulties to sell most of his land to an Italian named Tapponi.[2] Goustien (talk) 06:27, 31 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
