Talk:Benjamin Cook (journalist)

Assessment edit

In accordance with Wikipedia:B-class criteria, the numerous dead links and unsourced statements cause this article to fail B-class criterion 1, "The article is suitably referenced, with inline citations where necessary." This is especially important as the article is a biography of a living person. Thus, I downgraded the article to C-class, until such time as all B-class criteria are met. Press edit

With only one item of (previously unsourced) press, a full section dedicated to press is not appropriate. The aforementioned item is preserved in the YouTube section, since YouTube was the only topic regarding Benjamin Cook of said press. Adavis444 (talk) 13:54, 19 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Personal life edit

I have deleted the following unsourced statement, "Benjamin Cook is an atheist", placed the statement, "Benjamin was born in Isleworth, London, England" in the section "Early Life", and then removed the Personal life section as there was nothing remaining. It is very important with biographies of living persons (see WP:BLP) to ensure verifiability (WP:V) and omit original research (WP:OR). Please consult WP:BLPSELFPUB before using any self-published material as a source. Adavis444 (talk) 13:54, 19 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Notability edit

This is pretty clearly a vanity page written by the subject. He's a fan blogger, not a "journalist". He's no more notable than any number of other similar writers who don't have Wikipedia pages. Cardinal Wurzel (talk) 09:42, 3 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
