This rather bizarre piece to promote a book has been removed from the main article until such time as it can be edit, condensed, and given proper context:

[1]What really happened at the Bed In is in his book: Dominic Cobello On May 26th Dominic Cobello, a 23 year old rock concert producer, decided to meet the couple at Dorval Airport after hearing the news on CFOX am radio by Roger Scott. He called his good friend Michel and asked the top French daily newspaper's editor to send a photographer at the airport to cover this unique event. Dominic Cobello, known as the youngest music promoter since 1964, arranged a meeting point at the airport, precisely at the green light information counter. The 3 guys met there around 20:00 Dominic arranged with one of his contacts working for the airport as security agent, to guide them to the entrance where John and Yoko were to debark. Privileged to be dressed in a mohair suit with tie, Dominic made it to the top of the stairs of the ramp. Again the 3 guys are ready for action. Jacques Bourdon, became the first and unique photograph on the spot. He was standing on the stairs and ready to shoot as soon as the door opens. When the plane stopped, the door opened and John Lennon came out first holding Yoko, followed on his right side, Yoko Ono. Back of them Derek Taylor, the Beatles' PR guy with Nick Knowland and the film cameraman, which the name is still incognito. Dominic was the first to hand out his hand to John and said «Hello John, welcome to Montreal. The guy from Capitol Records is in out of town. If I may I would like to take care of your stay" John said " Hello...yes than you for your welcome" Dominic said then" Do you have a hotel and transport booked " John to reply " No " Nothing " Dominic " Than just follow Michel, he will escort you to Murray Hill limousine, and I will call the hotel". Being a music concert promoter, Dominic knew a few good hotels where he had booked some of the artists that he produced in town. In 1966, the Animals stayed at The Chateau Champlain, Edgar Winter at The Bonaventure Hotel, The Who, Mitch Ryder at the QE. On the spot he could have booked the Holiday Inn or the Ramada Inn, but he said to himself, a British group for a British named hotel. He phoned in at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel, which had over 1000 rooms in 1969. AS John and Yoko are making it trough the airport, Dominic is talking to reservation at the QE. «Please reserve the Royal Suite and the whole floor" That meant 100 rooms. The front desk manager at that time was on a learning period and took the phone. " Who Am I talking to "

"My name is David Girard. I work with Vincent Savard"

Dominic picked up one of his greatest rock and roll event. Arriving at the QE, he saw John with some staff, pulling out some furniture from the room. Dominic stunt with what was happening he asked John what he was doing. "Getting ready for a Bed-In." John said. John asked Dominic if he wanted to stay at the hotel and help around. "You can move in the other room besides ours if you want" John said. Dominic had no idea of what was going on, but he did accept to work from that room 1743. He stayed with couple from May 26 to June 2 1969. He witnessed everything that happened in that 1742 room. On June 2, when John and Yoko were about to depart to Toronto to pick up their passport, John asked Dominic if he would like to work for him. Dominic had to decline his offer, because of his implication in some concerts to come. Dominic Cobello wrote a book in French: Bed-In Story. ISBN 9782896470914 Hurtubise Hmh. He expects to release his book in Europe and USA by next September. In 2007 he received full authorization from Yoko Ono to publish his story and photos after she read it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.203.207.67 (talk) 13:12, 10 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
