Proposed changes
editI have created a sandbox for this article with several proposed changes. These changes include basic grammatical corrections, corrections regarding punctuation around dates and times, and stylistics change regarding a more NPOV. The article itself still requires more historical content regarding the battle itself. Link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Dietszche/sandbox
Needs work
editI have attempted to clean up this page, but I don't have enough familiarity with the battle to make corrections to some of the more poorly translated parts. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CaptainLego (talk • contribs) 21:51, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
Break battle details into subsections.
editSince the battle's details and participants are fairly complex, suggest that this section be broken up into several subsections. I did so in edits.--DDenes (talk) 01:30, 15 December 2013 (UTC)
Capitalization of headings
editNote that the Wikipedia standard is sentence type capitalization for section headings; that is, first word capitalized, other words not. DDenes (talk) 05:45, 10 January 2014 (UTC)

Forces
editI have corrected the English throughout the article, I think without intruding any important errors regarding facts, but I'm not an expert on the subject, and it ought to be checked by someone who is.
I have a couple of particular questions. First, I had to rewrite the sentence about what Bercsenyi commanded to make it make sense, but the changes may not be correct.
On the peasants being armed with rifles: a rifle was a pretty expensive weapon at that time, and low-grade firearms should have been some sort of smoothbore musket. Is this due to an error in translation, or did the original say "rifles"? Wallace McDonald (talk) 22:35, 31 July 2014 (UTC)
