Casualty numbers

edit

You describe a battle where the japanese succesfully defended a fortress from a korean attack, after which the koreans succesfully tricked the japanese into believing a larger force was on the way. Thus they retreated. How come then, that the estimate losses of the japanese( 2000, as opposed to 900 korean casualties) are so high? I am sorry, but having read all the articles here about Hideyoshi's invasions of Korea, i must say that they are nearly all written from a korean-favored point of view. You need to write from a Neutral point of view. 77.250.25.165 (talk) 12:33, 14 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

I'm guessing that this battle took place in and around Cheongju -- is this correct? Also, is there any indication from your sources as to whether this battle took place in the city proper or near Sangdangsanseong? --Zonath 23:00, 23 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Chongju, according to my book I used, is located in Chungchong province. It is about 3-4 miles northwest from the naktong river and Sangju. Is Cheongju anywhere near Chungchong province? Good friend100 01:54, 24 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
