Infobox?
editLet me know what you think about adding an IB to this article. I think for those going past it, it adds basic info without having to look through the article Edward Jocob Philip Smith (talk) 16:05, 12 May 2024 (UTC)
- @Edward Jocob Philip Smith that would depend on what the IB included. By all means have a go and see if it's useful to the reader. KJP1 (talk) 19:49, 12 May 2024 (UTC)
- please tell me what you think of the IB I just added.
- P.S. I couldn't find any arms of the peerage, but if you find an image on commons then please add it. Edward Jocob Philip Smith (talk) 20:32, 12 May 2024 (UTC)
- Edward Jocob Philip Smith - The image of the arms is less important than accuracy. The box you’ve added is headed “Barony Tredegar”, which isn’t right, and it states the barony became extinct in 1913, which isn’t right either. If you read the article, you’ll see it died out with the sixth baron in 1962. We’re trying to write an encyclopaedia - that means we need to make every effort to be accurate. Can you correct the IB or should I revert your edit? KJP1 (talk) 21:18, 12 May 2024 (UTC)
- I can correct it Edward Jocob Philip Smith (talk) 07:55, 13 May 2024 (UTC)
- What is the correct heading? Edward Jocob Philip Smith (talk) 07:58, 13 May 2024 (UTC)
- @Edward Jocob Philip Smith - Baron Tredegar, as in the article heading. It's the Barony of Tredegar, but you can't say Barony Tredegar. KJP1 (talk) 08:46, 13 May 2024 (UTC)
- all good now? Edward Jocob Philip Smith (talk) 10:54, 13 May 2024 (UTC)
- Yep, I think that’s ok. Not sure it adds that much but I appreciate some people like IBs. KJP1 (talk) 15:40, 13 May 2024 (UTC)

Rothschild Austrian title
editCould someone clarify the {{see also in the article regarding the Austrian Rothschild title? I can't seem to find any connection between Baron Tredegar, the Rothschilds, and Austria. Cltjames (talk) 20:06, 7 August 2024 (UTC)
- After conducting research, I can answer my own question. It seems the user who added a {{see also has been blocked from Wikipedia, and was engaging in a sort of vandalism and practicing inexperienced editing. I am removing the link as there is no connection, or any references proving otherwise. Cltjames (talk) 20:32, 7 August 2024 (UTC)
Gallery
editI added the Gallery section - I thought it was nice to put a face to a name. Feel free to remove it if you disagree. I haven't inserted Frederic Morgan's picture as it's not brilliant, and there is no image of John Morgan that is in the public domain as far as I am aware?
5th Baron Tredegar image
editHi everyone. The current image on the Frederic Morgan, 5th Baron Tredegar article is pretty useless, being heavily compressed by the BNA, and the only one I could find. Does anyone know of any other pictures of him that are in the public domain? TIA. Mac Edmunds (talk) 16:25, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
