Full Disclosure edit

Per the COI guidelines, I am revealing any potential confilcts of interest. The primary author of this article is a Deacon in the Autonomous Orthodox Metropolia being referenced in the article. I've accepted no favor or renumeration for the article, nor was I prompted for it, nor do I intend to write the article for propagandistic purposes. I previously worked on the Holy Synod of Milan article until the schism and simply thought, as half of the Synod is comprised of the American Parishes that an article was worth mentioning. Contested deletion edit

This page should not be speedy deleted because copyright information was sent to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. I am an authorized agent to reproduce this information of the organization's website, as well as the primary author of the cited text.

Contested deletion edit

Further, only one section, "Early History", cites the website text.

To mark it for deletion took a few minutes. Attempting to accomodate the requests to remove it from cache seems to be taking somewhat longer. Suaiden (talk) 00:24, 8 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Box upon box edit

I am a little dumbfounded as to why I am being called on "neutrality". Did it help to add a foreign news source? To source the article with Milan's own words?

Would newspaper articles about parishes help? Are they even relevant?

And this is the second or third time an editor has submitted some box on the top indicating that if this isn't fixed now it will be deleted. It's starting to feel a little harrassing.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Suaiden (talkcontribs)

Vandalism edit

A user named Volodymyr continues to try to insert false information and is deleting factual information in the article. There is no "deposition", because the "Milan Synod" is now made up of two retired Bishops, and two priests who gave up their episcopate to join the Moscow Patriarchate. This is a desperate attempt to regain lost credibility, since there are few parishes left in Italy that are still part of the Muscovite mission.
