Governor Austin Peay (1876-1927) was not Austin Peay IV. Austin Peay IV is the descendant of the original Austin Peay. Can someone correct this on Wikipedia? Drsowell 19:07, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Middle name edit
Some early records suggest Peay used the middle name "Leavell" (his mother's maiden name). If there are any other verifiable records or sources that show Peay using this name, post here before editing. BrineStans (talk) 15:35, 15 February 2017 (UTC)
