The article states: "This fact strengthened his reformist and eugenic ideas, in addition to his concerns for women's rights, and led him to conceive the project of raising a woman in optimal conditions who would become an example of Aurora's ideas." Is "his" referring to Aurora or her nephew mentioned in the previous sentence? Spanish doesn't use gendered possessive pronouns (at least not like English does), so I suspect this might be a translation error.
