Not a serial killer

Removed the classification of serial killer. According to the article, she only killed one person. Referencing this site's article on serial killers, three is the minimum number of murders to qualify a person as a serial killer. She did attempt to kill at least three more people, which may be the reason for the erroneous classification. Misterfilmgeek 15:16, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

I'm from and live in Alabama, and I actually live not far from the Anniston area, where Marie is from and it is widely thought and accepted that she also caused the death of or had a hand in her mother-in-law's death, although that has not been confirmed, as far as I know (even though made for television movies have dramatised otherwise). I personally do believe this is probably true (that she caused the death of her mother-in-law, or did "in part" cause it). However, what I believe and what has been proven is two different things. Birth year

Crime Library says her birth year is 1933. Where does 1937 in the article come from? That would make her 14 years old at marriage. – Alensha ^talk 22:19, 24 September 2009 (UTC)

Please correct/clarify report of death

Under section on Incarceration and Death, the final paragraph reads:

She was taken to a local hospital and underwent emergency treatment for hypothermia. While she was being transported to the hospital, she suffered a heart attack and died.

My question is:

If Hilley died of a heart attack on the way to the hospital, how was she treated for hypothermia when she got there? HoneyBee357 (talk) 08:51, 18 August 2020 (UTC)
