Quote: "ZAO Energomash–Atommash (Russian: ЗАО «Энергомаш–Атоммаш») is an engineering company located in Volgodonsk, Rostov Oblast, Russia. Established in 1973 as Atommash..." I'm sorry but this is not correct. ZAO Energomash-Atommash merely assumed management over the assets of Atommash which was forcibly bankrupted. Therefore it's incorrect to state that it was established in 1973. The company was established in 1997 and never owned the assets of Atommash OJSC, which, since 1999, are owned by UK Energomash Ltd (registered in the UK). Please consider rolling back the change. The article is not about the managing company, but about Atommash as a manufacturer instead. Thanks.

If the company locates at the same location and uses the same premises, it is the same plant, even if it legally not succrssor. The company website talks about the Soviet time and also the article in Russian wiki icludes both: the Soviet time Atommash and nowadays Energomash-Atommash. Also, please provide source for UK Energomash Ltd. Beagel (talk) 15:17, 15 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
The plant is located at the same place and uses the same premises. I would say it is unreasonable to have two articles.--Ymblanter (talk) 15:28, 15 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
I agree it's unreasonable to have two articles - I just wanted to say the new "ZAO" is not worth an article at all. My point was: the correct name for the plant is Atommash, regardless of who controls it.

Sources for UK Energomash Ltd (only available in Russian):

I agree that Atommash is much better recognizable.--Ymblanter (talk) 18:26, 15 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

After studying these links I understand what you want to say. After bankruptcy of Atommash, based on its assets a new company was created which is called now Energomash-Atommash and which is subsidiary of ZAO Energomash. Who owns Energomash is irrelevant in this context. I fully agree that Atommash is much better recognizable, and therefore the title of this article should be Atommash. However, it should include also its recent history as the manufacturing entity (plant) is the same although they are different legal entities. Beagel (talk) 20:12, 15 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

What if we reapply the structure of the article in Russian? I.e.: the initial paragraph speaks of Atommash (not the ZAO) + I create an additional, comprehensive subsection of the "History" section (right after "Bankruptcy of 1995-1999") that speaks of the plant's recent history (2000-2012), of which plentiful info is available? See Атоммаш#Современность for reference. Regards. Dust of the world (talk) 11:54, 16 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

rollback of 21.05.2015 - even EIR is not an international agency, it's not appropriate to simply delete the entire text block. Perhaps we can just rephrase the first line? What is EIR by your definition? Dust of the world (talk) 13:36, 21 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
