I removed: Edward Teller credited Freeman Dyson for first proposing this method for the reduction of, or countering of, global warming.[citation needed] Dr. Teller’s co-authors on the paper [citation needed] are Dr. Lowell Wood, of the Hoover Institution, Stanford University, and Dr. Roderick Hyde University of California Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

Merge Artificial cloud and Anthropocloud edit

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
The result of this discussion was to merge and rename the resulting article "anthropogenic cloud". Pierre cb (talk) 18:03, 22 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

By definition an artificial cloud is the one not occurring naturally, including the ones created by volcano eruptions. Since the only source of artificial clouds is human activity, "Anthropocloud" (anthropogenitc cloud) is artificial cloud. So both article are about the same thing and the most commons term is artificial cloud (the only article with real links too).

Merger seems entirely appropriate. While I prefer "anthropogenic cloud" which does not imply any intent, as the root facio, "to make", does with "artificial cloud"; "anthropocloud" is just wrong. --Bejnar (talk) 15:06, 16 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
Support merge. Bejnar makes a good case for "anthropogenic cloud". Swpbtalk 19:14, 18 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
Support merge with "anthropogenic cloud" as a paragraph of the page "artificial cloud". --Tangopaso (talk) 15:09, 23 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
