Markussep, can you explain to me the significance of the numbers that you added on 21 May 2015? Are they only there to assure doubters that there really are 257 255 communes as stated in the text? Or did you once find yourself itching to know how many communes in this arrondissement precede Pouilly in the alphabet? —Tamfang (talk) 01:20, 30 April 2016 (UTC)

The numbers have no special meaning, but indeed they are helpful to see whether there are really 255 (since January) communes in this arrondissement. The subdivisions of the old table had become meaningless after the cantons had been reorganized in 2015. Markussep ^Talk 19:01, 1 May 2016 (UTC)
