Article Needs Independent Sources edit

The entire article is unreliable as it lacks any credible references. The only "references" cited lead back to websites appearing to promote the interests of Arochukwu people. This should not be acceptable for WikiProject Nigeria, and certainly, it is not scholarly. At least two independent accounts from credible historians are required for this historical narrative. If this is not available, then I suggest to delete article completely rather than misinform the public. Merlin1935 (talk) 07:53, 26 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

RE: Article Needs Independent Sources edit

Merlin1935,

Independent sources have been added. The article was not misinforming the public. Independent sources on the Aro-Ibibio Wars (until very recently) were extremely hard to find. —Preceding unsigned comment added by LIL T (talkcontribs) 06:56, 28 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
