Notability

Why is an amateur child singer notable enough to be included in English Wikipedia? Alexf(t/c) 12:09, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

Well, first of all he is related to both famous music directors/singers Daboo Malik and Anu Malik which doesn't exactly make him 'amateur'.

2) If articles for American Juniors members exist (who were approximetely in the same age range at the time) then why not Armaan Malik?

3) @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ who could have auditioned (between the age of 0-14) is quite amazing and therefore Armaan should be notable enough to have an article on Wikipedia.

His singing career info, a bit needs to be changed. He sung 3 songs for the Movie "Mungaru Male -2" and it is already been released on Sept 10th 2016. Changes to the article

• Edited the background - Unsourced BLP.
  • Is writing the details of three to four generations required?
  • Mother is from Andra Pradesh so he understands telugu.
• Career
  • Sung for N1 commercials and N2 films (N1 and N2 are numbers) - references?
  • Learnt music from XYZ. Just because its true doesnt mean you have to add it. Again references?
• Influences
  • I have seen quotes on wikipedia but is he notable enough to have a birthday letter written to someone on wikipedia? (on facebook its fine). I am sure people post stuff everyday on facebook. Unless the letter has a historical importance (like Einstein's letter to the US president), I dont think it belongs here. Also copy paste from the source and Original research.

I've restored the tag, despite some additional sources being added there are still substantial portions of the Career and most of the Awards sections that are unsourced. The article really need to be substantially sourced before removing the tag. Ravensfire (talk) 17:18, 18 October 2018 (UTC)
