The first paragraph of the article reads like -- I'm not sure, but it's not encyclopaedic. Could we move most of this into the history section, and lose the business about the town being well built? Mister Flash (talk) 20:36, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

Alex Dunbar

According to this Alex Dunbar was born in Dumfries and attended Lockerbie Academy, leaving playing for Annan RFC as his most prominent connection with Annan. Lavateraguy (talk) 19:28, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

Inconsistency

Can’t add name
