Antisemitic Tone

edit

The article states that Goodman was of "Jewish heritage." So Judaism is a race after all? I thought it was merely a religion. Clarification is required.John Paul Parks (talk) 04:27, 21 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

According to Wikipedia, "Jewish ethnicity, religion, and community are highly interrelated, as Judaism is an ethnic religion, although not all ethnic Jews practice it. Despite this, religious Jews regard individuals who have formally converted to Judaism as part of the community. (2021, est.)" Fruitflies1 (talk) 21:18, 1 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

The link to www.nationalist.org/alt/2005/goodman.html inserted by User:Crosstar is not appropriate here. It is a mock interview which attempts to link Carolyn Goodman to various views by putting fictitious words in her mouth. In doing so it also abdicates responsibility for factual accuracy. Its primary purpose appears to be to generate hatred towards Jews. It has no place on Wikipedia.--Joeboy 12:52, 15 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

He's been spamming these links into dozens of articles. Jayjg (talk) 17:05, 15 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

Reagan Speech?

edit

I don't see what the paragraph below has to do with Goodman. I am removing it for now, but if someone can explain how it fits, please go ahead. Deepak 16:48, 2 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

On August 4, 1980, Ronald Reagan launched his presidential election campaign with a speech in
Philadelphia, Mississippi in which he declared his support for states' rights. Some critics saw his
choice of Philadelphia as the launching point for his campaign as an attempt to further the Republican
Party's southern strategy.

I think the quotation helps to illustrate that the Southern Democrats who opposed civil rights legislation all turned Republican, and Reagan was attempting to gain their support.John Paul Parks (talk) 04:25, 21 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

NOTE--I live 22 miles from the murder site. Most of the articles written about the murders are fictional or unproven. 130313

That may be so, but in order to add information to this article, especially information of that magnitude, you need to find it published in a reliable source.--Dudemanfellabra (talk) 03:24, 14 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
