Sources needed badly edit

The fact a new album is coming is not in dispute, but there is no reference given (beyond a vague reference to Warner Music Norway) regarding content. Not even the official Enya website has this information. If a source can't be provided, this may need to be pared down a bit. 23skidoo (talk) 18:13, 17 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • A couple of sources have now been obtained, including Enya's official website. Still needs a few more. 23skidoo (talk) 15:59, 18 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
    • Coming fast and furious, Enya herself just announced the track listing, which I have added. I might have missed it, but I haven't confirmed yet the earlier statement that there are no instrumentals. I took that statement out for now pending confirmation. 23skidoo (talk) 18:37, 18 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Correct title edit

This article will need to be moved to the correct title And Winter Came... (note the ellipsis). I'll move it myself, but since new information on this release is coming in almost by the hour, I'll refrain from doing so for a day or two to allow things to slow down a bit. 23skidoo (talk) 18:43, 18 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Discussion edit

Does Wikipedia or its company provide facilities for having discussions on topics, such as musical albums?  — Adriaan (TC) 18:56, 13 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Discussions about the topic itself is not what Wikipedia is for; so no, there is no forum designed for general discussion of a topic. These talks pages are used to discuss the article: how it can be improved, to gather consensus on issues that arise, and Wikiproject categorization. And as a side note, Wikipedia is run by the Wikimedia Foundation, and none of Wikipedia's sister projects exist for the general discussion of a topic. seresin ( ¡? )  03:50, 14 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Seresin beat me to it. There are of course web forums available for discussing topics. I recommend checking things like MSN Groups and Yahoo Groups (I know for a fact the latter has an active Enya forum). Enya.com also has its own discussion forum, and there are also many "catch all" forums and BBS's where this topic can be discussed, including (odd as it may sound) the TrekBBS and doctorwhoforum.com. 23skidoo (talk) 18:15, 14 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Removed material edit

I have deleted the following paragraph on the grounds that it was unsourced and added by an anonymous IP, rendering its veracity dubious at best. If someone can provide a source, please feel free to reinstate the paragraph. 23skidoo (talk) 18:21, 14 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

There was a launch party for the album, described as being in "...the prestige confines of 2 Temple Place, which was brilliantly decorated for the occasion, in the theme of the album with snow falling and a huge white horse bringing to mind scenes from Russia in the 19th century." It was confirmed that the track 'My! My! Time Flies!' is a tribute to the late Jimmy Faulkner.
It originally had a source, hotpress, but it was lost behind a subscription lockout, the ref was removed a few edits back. Google cache[1] can still see it. Knowledgeum :  Talk  18:48, 14 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Bonus track edit

In the past, bonus tracks have meant songs included on special pressings of a CD (or non-domestic editions), or songs available on b-sides and CD singles. The bonus song for this album is at present only being made available as an MP3 so this needs to be specified, lest folks start hunting for a CD that doesn't exist (at least not yet; given Enya's penchant for recycling some songs, maybe it'll appear on her next album, assuming it's released in a real physical medium). 23skidoo (talk) 00:30, 27 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Release dates edit

Right now both the album and the first single have two release dates in the article. The first linked source has a third different release date for the single... – Alensha talk 00:41, 14 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Certification table edit

I applied the new certification table as discussed in WT:ALBUM, but an anonymous IP editor reverted it without stating a reason, instating a table with several errors and wrong citations. Please explain why the old table is better before reverting again. --Muhandes (talk) 15:28, 4 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
