Deletion of content edit

I reverted aggressive deletion by Hairwizard91. Besides the two referenced papers, there are plenty of articles that use the epitaph of Anak Tomb No.3 as a key to determine Chinese activities in the Korean Peninsula. For recent ones, see:

  • Yi Sŏngsi (李成市): Higashi Ajia no shokoku to jinkō idō (東アジアの諸国と人口移動), Kodai Higashi Ajia no minzoku to kokka (古代東アジアの民族と国家), pp. 11-38, 1998.
  • Kim Yŏng'i (金瑛二): Kodai Higashi Ajia ni okeru jinteki kōryū ni tsuite (古代東アジアの人的交流について), Kawai bunka kyōiku kenkyūsho kenkyū ronshū (河合文化教育研究所研究論集), No. 1, pp. 123-132, 2005.

I want to see the sentence that you wrote in the article. Can you write in here? I could not obtain the two. I want to original Japanese text from the above two, and then english translation of the cited sentences. --Hairwizard91 13:33, 19 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

I think that you should stop deleting content before starting a discussion. Wikipedia would be disastrous if we allow people to delete content just shouting "I don't know!".

I guess I've already done my duty by citing references. And, actually, the discussion is too long to be quoted here. So the following excerpt from Yi 1998 is just a conclusion.

高句麗王陵をしのぐこうした墳墓の実在は、この地方 [former Lelang and Daifang] に楽浪以来の中国系の人びとや中国からの流移民が、かなり自立的で半独立的な勢力を保っていたことを示すものとして重視されてきた。

Copyright status of the pictures edit

Hairwizard91, can you explain why the four pictures you uploaded were tagged GFDL? You couldn't take them by yourself, I guess. --Nanshu 00:34, 23 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
