It's interesting that Owens is said in this article to have owned "all of Cherry Mountain." My ancestors lived on the same mountain from pre-Civl War days through the mid-1900s and I've never run across anything in my research that would imply they rented from Owens. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.234.64.99 (talk) 23:33, 18 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
