I propose to merge Ammalakkalu into Marumagal (1953 film). I think that the content in the Ammalakkalu article can easily be explained in the context of Marumagal, and the Marumagal article is of a reasonable size that the merging of Ammalakkalu will not cause any problems as far as article size is concerned. Moreover, there is a source of The Hindu for Marumugal TamilMirchi (talk) 18:17, 31 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Marumagal (1953 film) → Ammalakkalu – Although it was previously thought that there were no sources for Ammalakkalu, I found a detailed source by NTV Telugu called "70 years of Ammalakkalu" [1]. Moreover, as shown by the Box office section, it was more successful in Telugu. Plus, this is a NTR (Telugu actor) film. DareshMohan (talk) 19:24, 13 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
