The two 6-inch guns located farthest aft were removed in 1916, as they were affected by blast damage from the amidships 14-inch turret

refer to the last such guns (if means the second-last, my english is poor: tell me this and ignore what follows)? The text of the Latorre entry suggests the second-last an the drawing strongly supports this conclusion because the last are shielded by the structure. pietro. 151.15.212.218 (talk) 20:15, 18 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello Pietro! It was the farthest aft guns that were removed. You can see in the diagram that there are a pair of 6-inch guns even farther back, pointing aft, than the ones protected by the super structure. :-) Ed [talk] [majestic titan] 04:54, 19 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
