phraseology edit

  • ...specifically for the race and he hired the best in the business: Russell Coutts.

It reads like a magazine article, and it's all subjective! - Plasticmoth 09:17, 8 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

A very good point. I have made an edit which hopefully is accurate and gives a better balance re Coutts. Thanks for your input Boatman 18:08, 8 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Residency Rules edit

The article states that Alinghi changed the residency rules after the 2003 competition. This is not true because Alinghi sailed with a multinational team when challenging and winning in 2003. Can anyone point to a reference clarifying when the nationality change was made? Presumably the change was made by Team New Zealand (holder/defender) and supported by the Challenger of Record? Deletion 5 edit

I see that a significant deletion was made at 08:25 on 19 February. What was the reason for that deletion? Do others think that the material should be restored?--Gautier lebon (talk) 14:18, 19 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
