What are the sources for those? --Hob Gadling (talk) 10:16, 8 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
This article was so strangely biased that you could feel the ire that the writer had for Dr. Sebi oozing through their words. It was very strange because while I would never consider Wikipedia to take the place of actual objective academic inquiry, most Wikipedia articles do strive for a more objective tone than this. I'm not even a Dr. Sebi follower but instead was merely curious about the man as I came across reference to him in a documentary. 141.156.93.41 (talk) 05:00, 25 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Urgent Request for Revision of Alfredo Bowman (Dr. Sebi) Article edit

Dear Wikipedia Community,I am writing to urgently draw attention to the article on Dr. Sebi and to emphasize the pressing need for a comprehensive revision. As someone deeply connected to the work and legacy of Dr. Sebi, I am deeply concerned by the inaccurate and disrespectful portrayal within the current article. The inaccuracies are particularly evident in the description of Dr. Sebi as a "pseudo-scientist" and a "quack." Such labels misrepresent Dr. Sebi's pioneering work and his real contributions to natural health and wellness. It is crucial to note that Dr. Sebi was exonerated in the 1987 Supreme Court case against charges brought up by the Attorney General, which reinforces the legitimacy and credibility of his approach to health and healing. Moreover, the use of the term "quack" is not only inaccurate but also constitutes disrespectful language that misrepresents Dr. Sebi's lifelong dedication to his scientific principles and commitment to the promotion of holistic well-being. I strongly believe that the current article displays bias and lacks the balanced representation necessary to honor Dr. SeAs a poet and advocate for accurate representation, I am eager to engage in a meaningful dialogue with the Wikipedia community to rectify these significant discrepancies. I understand and acknowledge the limitations in obtaining concrete proof of the 1987 Supreme Court ruling that supposedly vindicated Dr. Sebi and validated the efficacy of his claimed cures. The difficulty in accessing verifiable evidence raises concerns about the level of cover-up that might have concealed this vital information. It's disheartening to encounter such challenges in seeking the truth. While I currently lack the evidence to support the claims about the 1987 Supreme Court ruling, it’s important to emphasize the absence of evidence on the opposing side as well. This serves to highlight a crucial aspect often overlooked in the discourse—lack of evidence does not equate to evidence of lack.It is vital that any article, including those on Wikipedia, reflects a balanced and non-biased voice. Furthermore, the absence of concrete evidence should not detract from the core purpose of presenting a comprehensive and fair view of the subject matter. By maintaining objectivity and respect for differing viewpoints, we uphold the tenets of non-biased discourse and contribute to the accuracy and integrity of content provided on Wikipedia. It is my sincere hope that through continued engagement and respect for diverse perspectives, we are able to foster a more balanced and inclusive representation of important figures and historical events on public platforms such as Wikipedia 166.181.81.2 (talk) 07:48, 13 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
That was a lot of text to basically say that you aren't prepared to provide verified sources as you stated in your opening paragraph. Primefac (talk) 07:52, 13 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

I personally know people who Every quackery has its healing stories. People get better without anbody doing anything, and they get better when someone does irrelevant things. In the last case, superstition leads to people believing the irrelevant thing was responsible. If you want to know whether something really works, you need more sophisticated methods.
