According to the Esperanto Wikipedia, he was born French, despite doing work in Rio Di Janiero. He was also an Esperantist, so an article was published about him in the 1934 Enciklopedio de Esperanto. -- Yekrats (talk) 13:17, 23 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
