Lead image edit
I realise it's not of prime importance to the article, but the current lead image is a bit... washed out. A quick look through flickr showed some interesting alternatives; I've only uploaded one to commons (on the right) but there are more images both on commons and flickr. Christina of Markyate edit
What does it mean that Alexander consecrated her as a hermit? Also I see that neither the articles Christina of Markyate or Markyate Priory mention Alexander. Dudley Miles 18:42, 30 June 2011 (UTC)
- In that time, if someone took vows to be a hermit, sometimes they'd have the local bishop do a ceremony to mark the taking of the vows. As to why the other two articles don't mention it, it's because I'm not working on either of those articles. Someone is of course welcome to take the information from here (along with the source!) and put it in those articles. Ealdgyth - Talk 18:55, 30 June 2011 (UTC)
