editThere reads: "Akech was born in South Sudan (formerly part of Sudan), but was raised in Kakuma, Kenya. She was 7 years old when she moved away from Kenya "
So she was born in 1999 and somehere around 2006 she moved out of Africa, while South Sudan gained independence only in 2011. That doesn't sound right. 85.76.106.18 (talk) 04:12, 2 April 2020 (UTC)

- No, the same would be someone who was born in Czechoslovakia before 1992 and there would read "___ was born in Czech Republic (formerly part of Czechoslovakia)".
