I believe that the lead section of the article is a little short and can use more content. Maybe include what Adolf Noreen is well known for, or what he has contributed to the Linguistic society. The lead section should be summarizing the article's key points. Also, there should be citations throughout the article, and almost all of what is said has no reference to what source you retrieved your information from. The only references used are on two of his works, but the rest of his works, along with facts about him in his biography, should have citations as well. Finally, if more content is found on the actual biography of Adolf Noreen, I think the article can be broken down into more sub-headings. For instance, there can be a section on his early life, his university years, or his years serving as a member of the Swedish Academy. Rchomat (talk) 21:59, 18 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
I have expanded the lead a bit and tagged the article with {{More footnotes}}. I also added some information about his views on spelling, but I don't think the article needs more subheadings yet. Geolodus (talk) 13:21, 27 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
