Untitled edit

I have rewritten the intro so as not to "infringe on copyright," even though Adil Shamoo has the rights to the info on the UMD website, and he is the one who requested it be used in the Wikipedia entry.

:Melanie, while the copy of the UMD website text remains in the page history, there's still a potential copyright issue. If you can get Adil Shamoo to send an e-mail from his UMD address to "permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org", permitting re-use under the GFDL, then that would sort matters. Alternatively, if a note could be added to his UMD site to state that re-use of the text is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain, that would also suffice.

The point is that there needs to be something more official than a comment on the article talk page in order to clear up that there isn't an infringement. --Sturm 18:53, 29 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
Striking the preceeding comment, I appear to be talking nonsense. --Sturm 19:31, 1 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Assessment March 4, 2008 edit

I have assessed this article as being Start class. It is is need of more biographical data on the subject - early years, heritage, education, marriages/offspring, etc. Also any pictures of the subject that can be furnished would help greatly. --Ozgod (talk) 16:38, 4 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'd like to fix the title of this page edit

How can I change the title so that it reads "Adil Shamoo" rather than "Adil shamoo" (with a lower-case S)?

I'd also like a search for "Adil E. Shamoo" to direct to this page.

Finally, I would like to stop searches for "Shamoo" from automatically redirecting to the page on Shamu the whale at SeaWorld.

Please help!

Considering that Shamu is a far more likely search target, I've added a link to the top of the Shamu page that directs people to this article. howcheng {chat} 19:47, 5 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
