The Acadian was NOT a Pontiac, regardless of what General Motors of Canada supposedly says. Nowhere on the vehicle is it identified as such, nor was it ever referred to as a Pontiac in any of its advertising or literature. The article states the reason for marketing the Acadian was because the Pontiac Tempest was not available in Canada. Why wasn't it available? Wouldn't it have been cheaper for GM to "fix" whatever problem there was that caused the unavailability than to have to create and market a separate make?Mhrogers (talk) 15:07, 23 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
