"ADNOC is the eighth largest recipient of US federal contract dollars, receiving a total of $918,256,500 in 2008 alone"

A misprint methinks, unless the US handing over a trillion dollars for shits and giggles 77.164.204.198 (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 08:15, 13 February 2009 (UTC).Reply

What is ADNOC doing in sustainability engineering? edit

I would like the major fossil fuel company articles to indicate how they intend to transition to carbon-neutral fuels such as this work and "power to gas." I need to know whether they support emerging chemical engineering research such as catalysts for carbon-neutral transportation fuels, whether they are working on compressed air energy storage such as [1] and [2], airborne wind turbines such as [3], and on extracting carbon from seawater such as this PARC method in order to solve their long-term corporate viability issues. I do not believe it is possible to have a truly balanced article on a fossil fuel company without some indication of their long term prospects. Tim AFS (talk) 04:25, 13 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

I also need to know whether they are developing electrical grid energy storage in their existing expended oil and gas caverns along with mineshafts and mines for pumped-storage hydroelectricity where ordinary hydroelectric power is unavailable. Tim AFS (talk) 09:09, 18 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

I'm confused because the editor 'Gorebath' has restored an enormity of self-sourced content about the organization, including brazen puffery about how brilliant and impressive the company is.[4] The content should be removed, and editors like Gorebath should heed to Wikipedia's guidelines regarding reliable sources. Where is this brazen puffery about the company? The content you blanked is about the company's subsidiaries. Gorebath (talk) 20:24, 16 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
Um, is "The building incorporates energy efficiency and sustainable engineering technologies, such as a double skin façade, photovoltaic glazing, LED exterior lighting" true?
Consider this:
"Sustainable engineering is the process of designing or operating systems such that they use energy and resources sustainably, in other words, at a rate that does not compromise the natural environment, or the ability of future generations to meet their own needs"
Explain how oil is sustainable. Aiden3.14152654 (talk) 03:45, 21 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
