I find abba zabbas here in Colorado, where I live now, and in Oregon, where I used to live. If I can find them in my 7-11s and gas station stores then they are neither "rare," nor sold exclusively in California.

Abba-Zabba song edit

There's a song called "Abba Zabba" by Fenix TX, but from the lyrics I can't say for sure if it's really about the candy bar or not.

Added 1922 date from candy wrapper museum. Memories edit

I used to love Abba-Zabba's when I was a kid (in the 50's). I distinctly remember "Little Black Sambo" type cartoons on the wrapper or the display box.
