General comments edit

I changed the article based on some of the steps at WikiProject Biography. You may want to go through each step yourself. Also, as a biography of a living person, you need to follow the steps at Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons. -- Jreferee 17:09, 26 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Birth date edit

NYT obit has 17 July 1921; some other sources have 18 July. Is it clear which one it was? AleatoryPonderings (???) (!!!) 18:52, 1 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

His birth record is on Ancestry, and it says 18th. The NYT have made a mistake. Thanks --Jkaharper (talk) 19:11, 1 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Marvin Stein link edit

"Beck's closest colleague was Marvin Stein, a friend since their army hospital days to whom Beck looked up for his scientific rigor in psychoneuroimmunology."

The link above for Marvin Stein goes to a cartoonist. Is this correct?

(at the time the inquiry was made) The link goes to the wrong article. Another Marvin Stein (1923 - 2009) without a wikipedia article about him (as of now) is the one intended. Information about him can be found in the obituary and in the Rosner 2014 paper cited after the link.—Arpose (talk) 17:40, 3 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
