203.17.235.24 (talk) 08:45, 30 May 2012 (UTC) it is apparently not known that AEW Mason was also an amateur actor of some merit. He performed in the very first presentation of WB Yeats "The Land of Heart's Desire" at the Avenue Theatre in spring 1894 according to the Note of Yeats in the script and dated 1912.Reply

Konigsmark edit

His listed novel Konigsmark (1938) links-thru to Konigsmark the village, not Konigsmark the man. Valetude (talk) 23:49, 13 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

No Other Tiger edit

I moved this novel from the "featuring Hanaud" list to the general list. Although Hanaud is mentioned a handful of times by a character who also appears in the Hanaud novels (Ricardo), Hanaud himself makes no appearance in the book.KD Tries Again (talk) 18:14, 5 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Adding serialisations edit

Someone asked where I got details of the serialisations from. I dont really understand the question. I got teh details from teh serialisations ie I looked in the magazines and there are the serialisations — Preceding unsigned comment added by Squigglebucket (talkcontribs)

@Squigglebucket: Wikipedia needs to know where things come from, in case anyone challenges the accuracy of information being added. If anyone does that, it's likely to be deleted even if it's correct, unless a source is given. The source is simply the specific thing you looked at to extract the information, either a hard-copy document or something online. When you say you "looked in the magazines", do you have physical copies in your possession, or are you looking at online copies, or an online index? If online, all you'd need to do is to state the specific page where you found the information (ie the full URL). Formatting citations properly is a bit tricky, but you don't need to bother with that at this stage: just add the URL after the information you're adding to the A. E. W. Mason page and I or someone else will put it into the right format for you. Once that's done, there much less chance of your edits being removed (reverted) simply because no-one knows where the information came from. I'm more than happy to help if you'd like to ask on my talk page. MichaelMaggs (talk) 16:45, 18 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

I believe the edits by 77.97.74.107 are made in good faith, and are capable of being sourced. I have offered my help to do so on the editor's IP talk page. MichaelMaggs (talk) 13:57, 20 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

No luck. The IP was unwilling to provide sourcing details. MichaelMaggs (talk) 08:09, 8 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
