Is the list in-odrer of appearance? edit

I'm curious to see if the performance list is in order of how they'll appear on the show? I'm very surprised that Saburo Kitajima is high up on the list. Usually he's the closer of the show, or at least the next-to-last. Groink (talk) 18:24, 13 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

The list is not the order of appearance. It goes in order of names from あいうえお to わを so Kitajima is near the top and WaT is at the bottom. Lostinube (talk) 02:16, 14 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Could someone please put them in order? Is the song list out yet? When I wrote the 57th event list, I presented the list in order of their appearance. And most people reading it will expect it to be in-order. Groink (talk) 03:31, 14 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Sounds like a good place for sortable tables. Anyone know how to do those? Fg2 (talk) 04:09, 14 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
As far as I can tell, there is no published order list out right now. How far in advance do they usually announce the order of acts? I always thought that they kept the order secret until the broadcast night? The Japanese wikipedia article list is currently the same one as this one so no help there either.Lostinube (talk) 12:07, 14 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Songs Announced edit

Nanami Kamimura has pointed out to me that the songs to be performed has been announced by NHK here: http://www3.nhk.or.jp/kouhaku/syutuen/index.html No order yet though. Also, there will be a tribute to Izumi Sakai from Zard, I believe they'll be showing a film of her performing a medley of her hits. It will be Zard's Kohaku "debut." Judges, other plans announced edit

NHK has announced who the celebrity judges will be as well as some parts that are being planned for the event [1]. English list of the judges is here[2]. Some of the parts mentioned in the NHK article are the previously announced Zard tribute, performance by the Muscle Musical dancers, performance by comedian Moody Katsuyama and a special about the Minna no Uta song Oshiri Kajiri Mushi. Building this article edit

Please feel free to add new information to the article. What I'll do this weekend is build the article like I did with the 57th event last year. I also only skimmed through the show itself so I don't have the gory details of what happened. I'll watch it off my DVR in full later when I have the five contiguous hours to spare. Groink (talk) 18:47, 2 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'll leave it to others to add this information -- ratings are available here[4] and the voting results are here[5] Top three lines reads Red, White, Total. The left goes Overall Total, Mobile Phone, One Seg (TV by mobile phone), Digital TV, Studio Audience (including celebrity judges). Lostinube (talk) 01:13, 3 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
