Splitting proposal
editI propose that sections 2020–2022_Taal_Volcano_eruptions#Response to new page Response of 2020–2022 Taal Volcano eruptions. the current page are large in the sections. HurricaneEdgar 07:22, 27 March 2022 (UTC)
- @HurricaneEdgar I am actually surprised that the response section is longer than the main eruption itself despite covering three whole years. Personally, I would not agree however, since it is large enough with several sources, I do agree to separate and create a new one. Back in 2020, responses and aid were making rounds in the Internet via memes and news articles, however this year, it seems relatively silent with only journalist wires making moves. I also recommend removing the "Local" from the title since it would surely cover international aid and relations. I worry though about the 'encyclopedic' factors of every entry which might be removed since a lot of these are normal and do not need to be included, ~maybe. --Likhasik (talk) 18:38, 28 March 2022 (UTC)
Make this page just about the January 2020 eruption again
editI find the article's scope of eruptions to be too all-encompassing as the succeding eruptive episodes after January 2020 in this sequence is much less significant than the former. Those are completely separate events that just belong in the same cluster. If one looks at the pages of significant events in other volcanoes, minor episodes that precedes and/or succeeds the main event aren't classified as noteworthy. 49.147.241.124 (talk) 17:31, 21 April 2022 (UTC)
