At the risk of being really obvious. If we don't know who will be in KV's 2nd car and indeed right now don't even know if there will be one. How do we know it'll carry #4? Duds 2k (talk) 21:50, 14 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Round column edit

Why is the round column already filled up until the end of the season? That's a gross violation of WP:Crystal. We can't claim for sure that any of these drivers will drive in all of the races. They can be forced to miss one or more due to any sort of reason (e.g. injury). Only rounds (i.e. 1) they have actually competed in should be credited at this point. Indycar teams publish their entry list and they always say which driver will drive in which races. If a driver gets injured then we could change their rounds column. Do we really need to make an issue out of this "little column" nonsense? Sabbatino (talk) 17:50, 2 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Race recap PoV edit

Most of the race summaries, particularly the most recent one for Fontana, are looking seriously biased in their writing and language. Can we work to ensure that these summaries are 1) short, and 2) written from a neutral point of view? TheChrisD RantsEdits 13:39, 28 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

... careful what you ask. Do you want cold, brutal neutrality? Or, is it the pretense of neutrality you crave, laden flowing, flowery euphemisms summed up in an anesthetized sound byte, shielding you from the stark, cold wet towel of naked reality? No gentle way of putting this, round 11 of the 2015 Indycar season wasn't merely a disaster. Heavily choreographed, it should be summarized as such. If you wish me to cease and desist in writing these race summaries, just say so. I'm happy to go away; leave you as I found you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 100.9.54.70 (talk) 18:12, 28 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

What? ChrisD means since this is an encyclopedia, it must be written in a neutral form (no exclamation marks, no fluffing it up to the point of it being the 2011 Canadian Grand Prix, 1992 Hooters 500 and 2007 Daytona 500 all rolled into one), regardless of how good of a race it is. Well, I tried my best to make it as neutral as possible. It's not much, but it'll have to do. Zappa24Mati 18:41, 28 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

... okay. It's your baby. I will cease and desist in posting to your page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 100.9.54.70 (talk) 05:36, 29 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

It's not my page (see WP:OWN). It's everyone's page. We just feel your writing isn't the most neutral. If you can make them neutral, we'll gladly accept it. Zappa24Mati 00:25, 30 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
Glad someone finally said something about these lap-by-lap recaps with the exclamation marks. Just need basic stuff, like the podium finishers, any major incidents, and maybe when and how the final pass for the lead happened. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.128.22.254 (talk) 16:09, 30 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
